This season, we’ve proudly provided opportunities for 30 girls to represent our 14’s, 28 in the under 15’s, 26 in the under 16’s and 27 in the under 18’s. These numbers are a true reflection of our core values: Development and opportunity.
While we all understand the excitement that comes with winning, our focus remains firmly on developing players. Not just technically and tactically, but also as young people with a love for the game. The effort to give so many girls meaningful minutes on the field speaks volumes about our commitment to growth over short term results.
This said, it’s also been fantastic to see that our developmental approach can go hand in hand with strong on field performance. As it stands, 3 of our 4 youth teams are sitting in the top 4 of their respective competitions, proof that we can provide opportunities for many while still maintaining consistency and competitiveness.
None of this would be possible without your support. From the support at home to match day on the sidelines, to trusting the process were committed to, it all plays a vital role into what we are building. We need to all remain focused and maintain our standards going into the second half of the season.
Kind Regards
