Welcome to the official website of the Southern District Raiders Football Club, proudly representing the heart of South West Sydney. Established in 2014, SD Raiders began as a passionate team within the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association (SDSFA). Over the years, we’ve transformed into one of Western Sydney’s leading clubs, known for our commitment to nurturing talent and promoting a dynamic, engaging style of play.
Our club is built on a foundation of core values: Respect, Accountability, Trust, Discipline, and Courage. These principles are at the heart of everything we do, helping us inspire and develop footballers across all age groups. We aim at providing a clear vision and pathway for our players to progress in their football journey within a supportive and challenging environment. We believe in fostering a culture where both players and staff know what is expected of them and are given the tools and resources to thrive.
Our focus aligns our JDL (Junior Development League) and youth teams with our senior squads, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to develop and potentially progress to higher levels of competition. By building partnerships with A-League clubs and other elite programs, we create pathways for our players to pursue their dreams of competing at the highest levels of football.

Catherine Cannuli
Catherine Cannuli serves as the Technical Director for the Girls/Women’s Program at SD Raiders, bringing a deep passion for the game and extensive experience. As a former Matilda, she has played for top teams like NSW Sapphires, Sydney FC, Brisbane Roar, and Western Sydney Wanderers.
Nick Carle
Nick Carle is a respected figure in Australian football and serves as the Technical Director for the Boys/Men’s Program at SD Raiders.
A former Socceroo, Nick enjoyed a successful playing career both in the A-League and internationally, representing clubs such as Newcastle Jets and Sydney FC.
